I had a gorgeous afternoon at the Sunshine Coast Storytellers Festival last week, which was part of the Horizons Festival promoting cultural diversity here in my hometown. Writing is such a solitary career – and I’d forgotten how nice it is to get out and talk to book lovers about writing.
