Happy (Geeky) Holidays!

I hope you’ve had a fantastic holiday break! Here’s a little update from me with sparkles of seasonal news and a FREE GIFT for your e-readers as well!

First up – a big CONGRATS to Joyce M. from Connecticut, U.S. for being the winner of the Goodreads Giveaway for a first edition copy of HUMAN! From over 1600 entrants, Joyce won her copy just in time for Christmas – woohoo!

I am so thrilled to have had my serialised novel ‘Avon Calling!’ recently selected as a finalist in Adi Shankar’s Bootleg Universe Short Script and Story Contest! This was an incredible global screenwriting competition which had hundreds of entrants.

‘Avon Calling!’ really made a splash juxtaposing the quintessential Avon Lady against the chauvinistic underbelly of 1940’s New York.
Thank you so much to Screencraft for my prize and this fantastic opportunity!

You know those tacky, terrible Christmas family photo memes that go ’round the internet, delighting viewers with 80’s sweaters and weird matching outfits?!

Yep, that’s my new goal each Christmas – up the oddball factor for my family album! This year, I kicked off the Christmas cheer by coercing my two sons (Finn and little Orrin) to dress up with me as Christmas Elves.

Yep, poor kids- but they are used to donning cosplay in the name of geeky fun! We usually make a nerdy time-lapse Christmas tree video each year like this or this, but sadly, our interstate move this year kept us from setting up the camera.

However you celebrate the holiday season – I’m throwing glitter and rainbows from me to you for the year ahead! Don’t forget – Feel free to share this post with your friends and other book lovers you know 🙂
